The Team

The Banking and Finance team lead from Mumbai and New Delhi. The team comprises of lawyers and other experts from the financial sector. The team coordinates with in-house legal teams from the banking companies and non-banking finance companies, financial institutions, asset reconstruction companies s as well as cooperative banks.

Our practice

Curare Legal advises its clients which comprise of investors and companies on transactions including loans, finance, re-financing and external commercial borrowing. The firm regularly engaged in advising on risk mitigation for debt defaults.
The firm guide the clients in the complex banking and finance laws, regulations and notifications in the banking sector. Policy and regulations are formulated by Ministry of Finance, Government of India and Reserve Bank of India . With the implementation of Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code, 2016 and formulation of Insolvency and Bankruptcy Board of India as well as establishment of tribunals such as National Company Law Tribunal and National Company Law Appellate Tribunal, the firm advises and represents corporate creditors and debtors involved in insolvency proceedings before the NCLT, NCLAT and Supreme Court of India.
