Our Practice

The e-commerce sector in India has grown exponentially in the previous decade, with the rapid spread of high speed mobile data technology and wide spread access to smartphones has brought about rapid growth in the e-commerce sector. The sector has seen significant growth amongst new ventures and start-ups as well with significant investments on technical as well logistics.

We handle a gamut of legal and regulatory issues relating to the ecommerce sector, focussed on regular transactional work, notably drafting, negotiating and finalizing commercial and licensing contracts with suppliers, vendors, service providers, employment contracts, intermediaries, network service providers etc.
We advise clients on Information Technology Act as well rules formulated thereunder, the firm also advises on policies formulated by the Government of India relating to the sector.

With privacy and Data protection becoming universal having lead by the EU GDPR, we also advise clients on data protection, as well as managing and advising on privacy consistent with the applicable laws and regulations.
